Title: The Piper Of Dreams

Author: Terry Pitts Fenby, Illustrated by Bill Bruce

Year: 1982

Prize: A Golden Flute

To claim: dig it up, hidden somewhere in the British Isles

Closing Date: ?

Type of book: A4 portrait colour picture and story book

Description: Loosely following the Masquerade style of picture story book, but more like a children's book. Part of the book price was donated to the NSPCC

Personal opinions: This is the only Treasure book I know that was solved within days of publication. As it was partly in aid of charity this must have been a disappointment for the author and the charity. As a second attempt, the books were sold with an insert offering a new prize - a silver flute - postal entries required instead, with a closing date in 1983. It had intersting illustations, but unusual text.

Other information: I haven't got the full solution...?
